Blake Dunkley is the man behind One Effect. Blake was born and raised in Ogden Utah to a good family. Families are not perfect but they taught him a good understanding of what it takes to work hard and to prove his competency and ability to be a successful. Blakes Mother has been a musical influence in his life and forced him to be in chore in school. Blake didn't decide to pursue music until he heard a band called 'Sublime' as a junior in high school and fell in love with the sound. He Said, 'I remember like it was yesterday, after hearing them(Sublime) for the first time in my red Dakota it hit me that there should be more good music out there for people to listen to. It was like something punched me right in the face saying, you can do this and be a powerful influence to others. I immediately started learning the guitar and singing to it.'

   Blakes music abilities began in 7th grade learning to play the drums from a family friend down the street. Blake said, His name was Jon Larsen and basically he taught me what 4ths, 8ths, 16ths, were and told me when to hit the bass drum and when to hit the snare.  Then Jon said, its pretty much all you need to know, from here you add in and build on the beat. Okay.. I took two lessons and taught my little brother what I knew. 'We had drum competition to see who could do the best beat that the other couldn't. My little brother was always a little quicker than I was'  

   Blake, then took to the guitar at about 18 and started writing as soon as he learned a few power cords from his older brother (Robert). Blake wrote his first song about his girlfriend called 'Fist Kiss' and everyone seemed to really like it which in turn gave him more motivation to keep trying. Blake, then started writing 'Holla Honey' which is currently on his first album and his first big hit. Blake tried to get with a few bands but nothing would ever form from it. Blake and his Brother Jordan played together a lot but, he felt like he couldn't get the right sound he was looking for. Blake eventually Started layering his music together and doing it himself because he has a lot of musical talent in most instruments. He would usually start with a drum beat he would make on Ipad then map out his whole song adding in Bass, guitar, piano, and vocals. He said, 'The Ipad has made my music career! The way its set up makes it so easy for me to make a song. If I get an idea playing around on my guitar I can make a beat record my guitar and have a rough draft in less than 20 mins. A rough draft of the whole song. Another hour of tightening everything up and I'm done with the music and ready for vocals... Blake laughs and says.. Thanks Steve Jobs.' Blake has created his whole album off the Ipad and is up for sale on Itunes, Amazon, and Cd Baby. 

   This is a small part of Blake Dunkley's life but what Blake stands for is much more than just music. He believes that we need to stand up for our liberty and our rights to be free. He said, 'When someone buys my music or wears my clothing they are stating that they are different from the norm. Elite loyal humans who care about our communities well being. If we stick together we can make a big difference. Love, peace, unity, faith, hope, and charity is what I believe in and, if more people felt this way we would have a better world to live in. These views will never change! We stand to make a difference'..
